Set in a picturesque valley, it’s perfect for school camps, community and cultural events and camps, youth and sporting groups, and a peaceful, and serene place for a religious or meditation event.
Westwood Lodge is situated within Lions Youth Haven, a not for profit facility owned and operated by the combined Lions Clubs of Canberra and Queanbeyan.
Lions Youth Haven provides a refuge for vulnerable youth in our community through contracted service providers in education, job preparedness, accommodation, and horticulture.
All profits from Westwood Lodge are used to provide programs that nurture and develop young people. We provide experiences for young people that allow them to gain confidence and self respect, build skills, and promote team work.

Accommodation
When you book you have exclusive use of Westwood Lodge, located in the Lions Youth Haven and only 15 minutes from Parliament House and all major National Capital attractions.
The Lodge ground floor can accommodate up to 56 guests in dormitory style rooms with bunk beds. The 6 dormitories sleep between 4 and 12 people.
On the mezzanine floor there are 3 single rooms with ensuite, and 4 single rooms with bathrooms shared between 2.
Sporting, cultural and community groups are welcome. However, Westwood Lodge will only accept a group booking made by a representative or agent for the group.
Please note that Westwood Lodge does NOT accept individual bookings.
A sports oval and a barbeque area are available for your use, as well as a fire pit for toasting marshmallows. The Community Hall is available for the use of Westwood Lodge guests and is equipped with a television, DVD player, ping pong table, and board games. Perfect for enjoying a night in.
The farm has beautiful walking tracks to explore and farm animals that our guests can interact with. Animal encounters can be arranged on request including handling and feeding poddy calves and lambs when available, feeding cows, and feeding our alpacas and sheep.
Catering
Westwood Lodge's contract caterer offers balanced and healthy meals in a spacious dining room. All dietary requirements will be catered for. Prepared lunches can be available for pick up prior to each morning’s departure.
There is an option for limited self catering. The dining room contains a shared fridge, microwave, hot water urn, sink, cutlery, plastic plates, washing up supplies. The barbecue is also available.
Tea and coffee making facilities are available at any time.
